Kaha translated from the Maori language means „strength“ or „energetic“ and was created by Bernhard Jakszt with the support of Simone Müller and in collaboration with sports physicians and physiotherapists.
It is inspired from Taiji, Kung Fu, the Haka (a traditional war dance from the native people of New Zealand) and Classic Yoga.
Slowly and fluently, one movement passes into the other, leaving plenty of time to execute it in a controlled manner and to feel an immediate effect - a healthy balance between flexibility and stability of the body. It strengthens, expands and relaxes crucial muscle groups and leads to inner peace.
The music comes from bands mainly from New Zealand, Samoa and Hawaii. It enhances emotions and motivation.
The structure of KAHA
Basically, the KAHA exercise program consists of 4 pre-choreographed ten minute tracks and a mental decay phase. The individual phases offer different requirements for the participant in detail. Every movement flows smoothly into the other. The flow training is elementary in this program.

„...für mich ein gewisses "Suchtpotenzial". Immer wenn der Track zu Ende war, fing ich von vorne an, weil es sich einfach gut angefühlt hat, und ich jedes Mal dachte: Ach, einmal noch..."
